On a side, Lich: back after two years from their latest invocation "Cryptic Stench". On the other, Ossario: fresh meat in the black/death carnage and next to become one of the big names hailing from the Italian underground.

"I messinesi Lich, con “Revenge Of The Dead” e “Nightmare”, aprono la strada all’ascoltatore in questo dungeon dalle atmosfere cimiteriali, un po’ condite dall’ironia tipica delle vecchie pellicole horror cui la band s’ispira, coi loro riff orcheschi che riportano al minimalismo dei Celtic Frost ma con suoni più grossi ed un batterista più estremo. Gli Ossario continuano nella medesima direzione con “Sadomartyrs”, pezzo cantato da Diego DoUrden, attuale cantante/bassista del gruppo culto brasiliano Mystifier, e “A Grave Within The Mind” con ospite Necrosplatter dei siciliani Daemonokrat, il quale dona al pezzo un bell’assolo – l’unico dello split – che variega un po’ il minimalismo del disco. Rispetto ai compagni, l’intenzione degli Ossario non cambia: odore di morte causato da tombe scoperchiate e creature marcescenti che reclamano ancora ciò che in vita gli è stato negato."
